National Penal Unit for the fight against crime related to information and communication technologies

Abstract

The digital revolution has led to the emergence of cyber crime, named by Algerian legislator crime related to information and communication technologies. The specify of these crimes makes it necessary to establish National Penal Unit for the fight against crime related to information and communication technologies to prosecute these crimes, which is considered an important step in the fight against cybercrime policy. In this study, we tried to analyze the different legislative rules related to this subject, so we concluded the necessity of ensuring good training of judges in the field of cyber-crime, as well as activating international judicial cooperation.
