Remote visual trial system in criminal matters... is an incomplete system

Abstract

In this study, we examine the remote visual trial in Algerian legislation, and this sheds light on the developments in the legal texts in this context. How effective is this technique in reconciling the requirements of modernity within the justice sector and the guarantees of providing a . fair trial We concluded that the legal texts regulating the conduct of the remote visual trial carried with it an approval for this technology in accordance with controls related to respect for the rights and rules stipulated in the Code of Criminal Procedure. However, the application of this technique has several repercussions in order to provide guarantees of a fair trial, whether during the investigation phase, or during the trial .phase
