Abstract

This contribution explains the legal and regulatory requirements for emergency and temporary authorizations for the use of new vaccines in (COVID-19) patients, with a focus on other legal and institutional aspects related to administration of these vaccines in Algerian health system and some of comparative health systems, which has launched a national programs to immunize the population and health care workers against the Corona virus. However, the "hesitancy" to take these innovative vaccines would pose a major challenge for these systems to defeat this pandemic, given the considerable "uncertainty" about the safety and efficacy of new vaccines authorized in a short time.
