Electronic consumer’s legal protection

The past few years have witnessed a remarkable development in the use of internet, especially in terms of buying and selling. It is no longer limited to businessmen the use of internet, especially in terms of buying and selling. It is no longer limited to businessmen and e-commerce professionals, but rather to managing the individual for his daily life , including goods and services of various kinds. As a result, the need for consumer protection has occurred as the weakest part of online contracting, especially for giants that have ways of advertising and economic power. As well as protecting him from fraudulent activities and fake sites .This was represented by the interest of many countries in developing legislation concerned, we reached some results, including that the Algerian e- commerce law came as a result of legislator’s awareness of the need to rebalance the the legal positions between the contracting parties in this type of contract. Duty of inform and right of withdrawal of contract are two main principles to stabile contracting process We will address this topic in light of the provisions of the European Consumer Protection Directive. in distance Contracting and the Algerian e-commerce law.
