Abstract

 The notary intervenes in the editing and documentation of official documents, which makes it an argument for all people and has a force of proof equivalent in value to the rulings of the judiciary, so it may not be challenged except by forgery, and here the role of the notary is evident on the occasion of his editing of contracts and documenting the agreements of the contracting parties in protecting their rights and achieving legal security. This study aims to clarify by addressing the powers vested in the notary, while showing the effectiveness and contribution of the notary in granting reassurance and stability to the parties and handing them an official contract with authority and expiry.
