Before the protection period and the real property protection regime of 12 August 1913, Morocco had known only one regime that is the Civil Property with all its conventional forms. The term property protection was not known. With the recognition of the real property protection regime in Dahir 9 Ramadan 1331 (12 August 1913) and the amended Dahir 19 Rajab 1333 (12 June 1915) that included the applicable regulations on the protected properties in Morocco, Morocco enjoyed a double property structure, civil properties, or non-protected properties leaning to the land registration, and protected properties. The non-protected property is the basis because the protected property was non-protected before it followed protection procedures that are based on clearance and the final state of protection.
